I'm so excited......
I went to the local animal shelter today and put a reserve on a ferret. I can pick him up next week.
I am struggling with names however. Maybe you guys could help!!
It's a Dark Polecat Hob. Only young (under 1 year). He was found in a oil tank and took in to the animal center where they had to bath him several times. He's very affectionate and quite lively.
Obviously that's all I know about him. My other ferrets (but one) are named after people.
Lorne (From Angel)
Drucilla (from Buffy the vampire slayer)
Meeko (from Pocahontas)
Leola (random name)
So any suggestions would be appreciated
So far I've come up with Spike (from buffy)
(Can't wait till next saturday when I can pick him up) |

Lol thanks guys for you're suggestions. I've decided to name him Tommy. As he was found on 11.11.07 (rememberance day) and for those of you who don't understand why, british soldiers were called Tommies.
I know it's not in with the theme. But he seems a plain sort of ferret (in the nicest possible way)
I canny wait |

I've actually decided to name him Tommy Chef.
I phoned the rescue today to see how his castration went and they told me that he'd gone today, so they lied lol. (don't worry I'm only joking, I know things don't always go to plan)
So I'll check tomorrow. Only 3 days to go (including today) |

HE'S HERE!!! **squeals**
It was the BEST introduction I've ever witnessed. I let Tommy have a wonder around the pen on his own for a while then introduced the others 1 at a time. There was no fighting....just playing. It was like they'd been a established business all along lol.
I just cant believe it. He's now snuggled up in the bed with all of the others. How cute |
