Critique/Opinions Needed

Hello. I've been playing around with GIMP (my image program that I use) and I would like some opinions on what I've done so far



This is for one of my chinchilla's - This is a gray long-tailed chinchilla.



Just edited the one above to make it for another chinchilla of mine. This is a short-tailed one instead though



This I actually make for another game I play. But I would still like opinions on it.

I'll be adding some more as I make more also

Any critiques and opinions are welcome. Just try and be nice... Being mean will make me cry and that's really not a pleasant thing for anyone...

Your cat is very creative ^ ^ but some suggestions on her, I think its a her? You might want to do something to the eyes make them shiny or something (maybe a tad bigger pupils too) The chinchilla is cute ^ ^ you should put something in his paws (it looks like he is eating something). One other thing is you might want to do some shading on them so they stand out better.

I've never been able to get the shading right on anything... But I'll mes around with it a bit tomorrow and see what I can do.

And yes, the kitty is a she And her name actually happens to be Elisa - I just haven't finished getting her lineart right so I haven't put her name on her picture yet lol

Well, I've been playing around with my fun features of GIMP (I'm glad I have Linux )



New and shaded! Oh, and I took your tip and added a little something for it to eat. It does look a lot better!

He needs whiskers and also add a small white dot in his eye. It'll make him have a bit of reflection and depth to him.

Otherwise he's cute ^_^

Gray shaded short tailed Chinchilla, with same modifications as the long tailed Chinchilla



I tried my had at a Degu... But I'm not so sure about how good it is.... All help will be more than greatly appreciated!



One of the Degus that I own is gray with brown highlights... This is my poor attempt at brown highlights. any suggestions on how I should try to make the highlights?

Thanks for the help I've gotten so far Hopefully I'll be able to get a better grasp of art making soon heh And I've decided to put of working on Elisa (the kitty) for a while I'm going to try and get most of the animals I own on here first.
