It's very good
Now, for the critique...
As Sterling said, it looks sort of fat. The belly should only be a bit thinner though - giraffes have large rib cages. They need them because of the amount of oxygen it takes to keep them running and supporting their large body frame when escaping predators ^^
Also, giraffes tend to have thinner legs. They're muscular, but a very small portion of their body fat goes to their legs.
The end of the tail tends to be flailed out, so they can whisk flies and other pests away easier, as is true with all species of the equine family
The body shape is REALLY good! The joints were done very well and the neck is a very realistic length for its height!
Its coloring looks a bit like bricks. It should blend a bit more. You can run over it with yellow, orange or brown to smudge it (or you can use your finger ^^; It's faster, but can ruin a pictures sometimes.) If you have a program with a smudge, make a new layer in case you smudge the wrong area |

thanx for the tips and constructive critism(spell?). I have taken them all into account and shall apply them to other pics that i draw.
(the colour is actually strong on the page but unfortunately the scanner wouldn't scan so i had to take a piccy of it and i think it lost some depth.)
thanx again guys |
